Summer 2025: A Gentle Season of Healing, Creating, and Quiet Growth

As summer starts to wind down, I’ve been thinking about how this season went for me. It wasn’t full of travel or big adventures, but honestly, it was still a really good summer.

July was all about rest. After my surgery in June, I gave myself space to just breathe and recover. I didn’t rush to create or push myself. I let myself pause, and that in itself felt like a win.

By August, I slowly started feeling like myself again. I had a solo beach day that was so needed, just me and the waves and a lot of quiet. I also had a calming day out with my boys, which filled my heart. We didn’t go far or do anything huge, but those moments meant a lot. Peaceful memories that I’ll hold onto.

This summer, I also found myself creating more quietly. Writing blog posts, filming when I could, and just easing back into sharing again. I’ve posted 29 blog posts since January, which feels surreal. I’m proud of that. I started showing up more on YouTube, and surprisingly, I really enjoyed becoming more active on Threads too. It’s felt like a softer space where I could just be myself without pressure.

I still pray my blog takes off before the end of the year. That dream is very real. But even now, I’m learning to see the growth that’s already happening. Quiet, steady, and rooted.

How was your summer? I’d love to know if you had any unexpected moments of peace or joy too.
