A year in review

2022 the year of many unexpected turns. This year challenged me in many ways. I was just getting back on my feet after a previous motherhood and pregnancy only to be surprised with an early pregnancy. It was hard to accept because I had made up my mind to stop procreating because I was content with my handsome princes. However, life as we know it has turns and curve balls. We make plans but we aren’t really in charge of it all. Humans can try to shape their life how they want to but the. Realtor of the universe have a much better understanding of how things are meant to be. I had to accept the fact that my family is not growing and I will be more busier with work life and motherhood. 2022 I had planned to create more content for my lifestyle blog but as my pregnancy progresses it was much more difficult to keep up with scheduling and work life. Frustrating as it is, I found myself on self doubt and had many inner battles back and forth whether to completely call it quit. I mean who was I kidding? Who would want to read my blog. It only a year old and I hardly have any traffic or movement on the page. As much as I want to call it quit there is that desire to keep writing even if no one would read it.

2022 thought me resilience even after failing to achieve my goals and towards the end I learned to appreciate the littlest things that life offers. To move with consciousness and to truly be authentic in my being. There’s other things that transpire in 2022 but I’ve decide to reflect, relearn and to move forward with much gratitude. I am not setting any unnecessary goals for myself as the new year approaches because I am focusing on moving at a slower pace with much clarity and peace of mind.
